There is nothing more fun than a summertime BBQ!

Family and friends gather around, kids are playing together. There’s wine and great food! All that fun and you get home only to realize the kids’ clothes are covered in dirt and BBQ sauce, you have spilled red wine on your new blouse and as usual, your husband has used his shirt as a napkin.

Collins Cleaners wants to help you enjoy those summertime events without the stress! We have a few tips on the different ways you can prevent and pretreat those hard-to-remove stains.

Grease Stains: Any excessive grease stains need to be blotted and dabbed with water. You can Launder in the hottest water appropriate for that garment. Bring any dry cleanable garments to us.

Food Stains: Pretreating foods such as BBQ or Pizza must be treated with a stain-release liquid directly onto the stain. Rub the fabric together gently or with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Let sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing the garments.

Wine/Blood Stains: Wine or blood stains can be more challenging. It's best if used with stain release liquid and hydrogen peroxide mixed then set onto the stain for up to an hour. Blotting is recommended before attempting to wash the mixture.

All tips above have been provided to help pretreat any clothing articles. We do not guarantee the stains will be 100% removed, however, pretreating garments have been proven effective.

Here at Collins Service, we provide the professional help of dry cleaning as well as other services including stain removal. For more information on services provided at Collins Cleaning visit our website: https://collinscleaners.com/
